Canvas Displayed Pendant (Uranium Glass): Street Lamp

These 5 x 7 canvases are hand painted works of art displaying one of my Lake Erie beach glass pendants. They can be framed together or the pendant can be removed to wear. A unique little gift for someone who enjoys art and the lake/beach glass. 

The pendant is a piece of frosted uranium Lake Erie beach glass, wrapped in silver coated copper with a silver color filled 16” chain.

Uranium was used to color glass, a light green prior to World War II when the government stockpiled uranium for the Manhattan Project. Uranium glass glows under black light, but don’t worry it’s less radioactive then your cell phone, and perfectly safe to wear.
