Collection: The Lake Erie Fossil Collection

The shores of Lake Erie is home to wide variety of fossils including Horn Coral, Clapodora Tabulate coral, Honeycomb Coral (Favosites), Chain Coral (Halysites), Stromatoporoid, Crinoids, Brachiopod/Cephalopod (fossilized marine animals), and more. Most of these creatures have been extinct since the Late Permian, more than 250 million years ago.

I am not a geologist or a paleontologist, but I do my absolute best to identify the fossil and wrap it to show its most beautiful characteristics. The fossils are beautiful when rubbed with mineral oil and a soft cloth, which is a way to keep your pendant looking fabulous.
